Congratulations on your selection and thank you for buying Jami L Designs. This brochure contains our Limited Warranty, specific performance characteristics, and care tips that will help you keep your furniture looking as good as new.

Warranty Limitations
This Jami L Designs Limited Warranty is limited in that it is provided to you, the original purchaser and owner and covers Jami L Designs products sold to you by an authorized Jami L Designs Dealer. The Jami L Designs Limited Warranty does not apply to furniture that has been abused in any way or used in a business environment or for any other commercial use. The Jami L Designs Limited Warranty is valid only if your furniture has been used for normal residential purposes.

This Jami L Designs Limited Warranty does not cover any Jami L Designs products sold in "distressed" or "as is" condition, products sold "second hand" or Jami L Designs products purchased from a retailer not authorized to sell Jami L Designs products.

The following provisions of this Jami L Designs Limited Warranty are subject to these Warranty Limitations.

Ten Year Limited Warranty - Frames
Frames are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for ten (10) years from the date or purchase under conditions of normal residential use as described above.

Five Year Limited Warranty - Springs and Motion Mechanisms
Springs and motion mechanisms (swivel bases, swivel/rocker bases, and sleep sofa mechanisms) are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for five (5) years from the date of purchase under conditions of normal residential use as described above.

7 Year Limited Warranty - Sleep Sofa Mattresses
Jami L Designs Sleep Sofa Mattresses are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and against the loss of foam resiliency for seven (7) years from the date of purchase. The mattress cover material is excluded from this seven (7) year warranty.

3 Year Limited Warranty - Cushion Cores
Foam cores in seat cushions are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and against the loss of foam resiliency for three (3) years from the date of purchase.

Cushion Performance Characteristics and Care.
The foam used for seat cushion cores is environmentally friendly, no cfc's. While foam will soften over the life of the cushion, it should not lose its resiliency - the ability to recover from compression. Polyester wraps, used to create surface softness, will, over time, lose some of their initial loft, which may contribute to cushion wrinkling. You can prolong cushion life and keep your cushions looking fresh by turning and rotating them regularly. You may also want to refresh the cushion by adjusting the polyester wrap. To do this, unzip the cushion casing and adjust the fit of the core and the polyester wrap. We do not suggest removing the cushion core from the casing.

1 Year Limited Warranty - fabrics, filling materials & fastenings
Upholstery fabrics, including slipcovers, are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase against seam slippage, fraying and dye transfer, but only if any cleaning conforms to industry standard methods, as prescribed on the Care Label attached to the seat deck or underside of your furniture. This warranty does not cover wearing, wrinkling, fading, pilling or fabric that has been treated with a dealer or consumer applied soil repellent.

Foam filling materials are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase against the loss of foam resiliency.

Zippers and seams are warranted for one (1) year against failure, including seam slippage.

Prolong the life of your fabric.
Dust and dirt promote premature fabric wear. Vacuum the surface of your furniture regularly, including the deck under the cushions, with the soft brush upholstery attachment for the hose on your vacuum cleaner. Direct sunlight can cause fabrics to fade. Care should be taken to limit the amount of direct sun on any piece of furniture.

Slipcover Information and Care
Your slipcover design gives you tailoring options. Give your sofa a casual look by leaving the cover loosely attached. Achieve a more tailored look by fitting the cover closely under the arms where the Velcro strips are located. Remember, when you want a new sofa, for a change of seasons or a change of mood, a new slipcover is both fashionable and economical! When it comes time for cleaning, we recommend you call a professional upholstery cleaning service. While it is possible to launder some pre-washed fabrics, we don't recommend it. Home and typical laundromat washing machines aren't really designed with this task in mind.

Our Promise
Within the provisions, time allowances and limitations of this warranty, we promise to repair or replace, at our option, any part or parts we deem to have a manufacturing defect.

Service
To request service under this warranty, contact the authorized Jami L Designs Retailer from whom you purchased your Jami L Designs furniture. The Retailer will in turn contact us. Certain repairs may be made in your home with our authorization. If the repair cannot be completed in your home, you must make arrangements with the Retailer to transport the furniture to the Retailer's location. This warranty does not cover the cost, if any, of transporting your Jami L Designs furniture between your home and the Retailer's location. The Retailer will coordinate subsequent service with us, using either a local repair facility or our Factory Service Center as we deem appropriate. This Jami L Designs Limited Warranty covers the cost of transportation, if needed, between the Retailer and a local repair facility or our Factory Service Center and repair labor costs for twelve (12) months from the date of your purchase.

Certain information is required to process a request for service. We suggest that you keep your sales receipt and make a record of the Serial Number for each piece of furniture that you purchased. In addition, we ask that you activate this Jami L Designs Limited Warranty by registering your furniture purchase with us using the form below. You will find the Style and Serial Number on the white law label sewn to the deck under the cushions or attached to the underside of the piece of furniture.

If either you or the retailer has moved, you may call our Customer Care Department directly at 1.800.421.7693. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Jami L Designs shall, in no event, be responsible for any incidental or consequential damage and in no event shall the responsibility of Rowe exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion may or may not apply to you.
